Meredith & John- Sneak Peek

This is such a tiny sneak peek.  I couldn’t wait to upload this picture and share it with you.
Meredith got ready at the historic and ultra beautiful Renaissance Vinoy in Downtown St. Petersburg.  As my assistant Erica & I walked through the lobby, dress, rings, shoes in hand, we were amazed at all the amazing detail of this place.  And the details of Meredith’s wedding look were a perfect match.  We thought we were done, and we were heading back to her room, when we decided to go into the restaurant to see if there were any cool places we could hang the dress.  We looked at this tall window door, but there was nothing to hang the dress on.  Whyyy do hotels tease us with the beautiful windows and nothing to hang a dress from?  One day, I’ll build a venue that is a photographer’s dream.  Put everything in the right spots and have tiny hooks everywhere.  Bummed, but still determined, we kept looking.  We were about to give up when we saw this AMAZING, HUGE window.  I looked up, expecting there to be nothing to hang the dress on, and there I saw it..  a hook.  Of course, this is the first hook I’ve EVER seen on a window.  I knew it was meant to be.  They said they put the hook there for the Christmas tree.  Whatever the reason, I knew what I had to do.  But how do I get it up there?  It was so tall.  Even if I stand on something, I wouldn’t be close to reaching it.  Thank God for the staff at the restaurant.  Although they looked at me like I was insane, they helped me figure out a way.  I was not giving up.  I can’t stress enough.. this luck NEVER happens.. Well, never happens to me, anyway.  All in all, it took a crazy tall man standing on a box, standing on a 4 ft booth of some kind.  And it worked!
