Hello Yarn

So I have a craft fetish.  I bounce from craft to craft a few times a year, totally submersing myself into whatever I’m feeling at the moment.  Last year, it was felt.  I bought literally a lifetime supply of it.. And it’s still sitting in my closet, actually.  I’ll use it again sometime.. maybe.  Right now, I’m totally smitten for knitting.  I’ve knitted a whole 2 scarves now.  :)  So proud.  I’m on my 3rd scarf (because, you know, you can never have too many scarves when you live in FL).  I was all into it until my cat decided to start kneading on it and now there’s a large snag in it.  Now I’m so bummed, I’ve been contemplating giving up and going to the next project.  Waaah, I know.  Sucks.
My husband, Bryan and I watch way too much tv.  But I can’t sit there and just watch it.  I have to be doing something else.  Are you like that too?  Knitting is a perfect thing to keep my hands busy, and it’s so much more productive than playing games on the kindle.  But it’s always hilarious when there’s an old lady on tv, doing what.. KNITTING.  There she is in her high bun and glasses, knitting away..  And then I look down at myself, I’m knitting, wearing glasses and a high bun in my hair.  Oh lawd, maybe I should start wearing lingerie to knit, or something.  Ha, right.
I probably shouldn’t post this picture of how much yarn I actually have because Bryan will see that I don’t actually need to go get more.  But I do!!  There are so many pretty, soft yarns out there!  To quote my girl Ariel, “I want mooooore”.

I’m a craft/hobby bouncer too! I have full supplies for soap making, candy making, a lovely SLR camera, some jewelry making stuff, scrapbooking… I tried sewing but luckily borrowed my mom’s machine long enough to get over that. I’m glad I’m not the only one!
