A few days ago, I received an email that told me I am one of the top 5% of wedding photographers in the country! Wedding Wire’s Brides Choice-2013!! Having got this award last year, too, I am SO completely honored!!
Recently, I mentioned to someone that I’m a wedding photographer, and how I have the best job ever. They kind of smirked & chuckled, and just said “right.” I was kind of taken aback. Of course I’m “right”!! I really love what I do! I tried to think of why would he say that? I get to be the one that captures WEDDING days!! One of the best days in a person’s life! Then I remember there are shows out there like Bridezilla, and there is this stigma about horrific brides yelling & being control freaks. Granted, there are some out there, but lucky for me, MY BRIDES ROCK!!! Seriously, I can’t ask for better brides. And I feel like I say this over & over again, but I consider each bride & groom my personal friends. And each wedding I go to, I am touched by the love that is overwhelming & contagious to be around. I love to be the one & HONORED to be the one to take & preserve these memories. I’m so incredibly blessed that I get to do this for a living. So yes, I do have the best job ever. And I want to thank each and every bride who wrote a review on Wedding Wire for me, that helped me win this award for the second year in a row. My heart is filled. Thank you!!!
