I want you to meet someone near and dear to my heart. This is Alex, my nephew. I met Alex when he was 4 years old, when I met the rest of my now husband’s family. I immediately bonded with this super sweet, teeny little kid!! I can’t even describe our relationship. I have loved him as if we were blood. I kept telling him I wanted him to stay little forever, but he grew like a freaking weed over night. My husband Bryan & I moved out of state, so we didn’t get to see his family very often. Every time we would get to visit, I felt like Alex grew a foot and a half. And then his voice kept getting deeper & deeper, and I’m like who the heck is this grown man?? It’s crazy how fast kids grow, right??? And now he’s graduating high school, and I am so incredibly proud of the man he is growing to be. He loves computer animation & has dreams to one day work for Pixar! I am so excited to see him chase after his dreams and make them come true. He’s so smart and driven, so I know he’s going to be successful in whatever he does.
