Oh my gosh!! What a great wedding!! To tell you the truth, I was a bit worried when Adrienne & Eric told me they had such a huge lag time between the ceremony & the cocktail hour. I look back and I’m thinking WHY in the world was I worried?? We got to spend SOOO much time with the bridal party, and we weren’t rushed at all when it came to take pictures of just the two of them. Now, I’m wishing every wedding had hours in between!! We soaked that time up like a sponge, using every minute, and we got some amazing photos!!
But before that, I was crazy happy to be working with this couple. They are definitely among the sweetest couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Full of smiles, constantly asking if I needed anything.. (BTW, I’m the hired help.. Can I get YOU anything??) Watching Adrienne get ready, you can just tell she was so thankful for every ounce of everything she had. Her friends & family together, hanging out, everybody getting dolled up, she couldn’t be happier. I loved catching her smiling.. which was constant. She has such a lovely smile!
I brought along my friend John to second shoot for me. I’ve never worked with him before, but he shoots for my good friend Katie, so I was happy to trust him with such a big job. Oh my gosh, he didn’t disappoint at all! I went through the pictures of the guys getting ready, rolling out of my chair from laughing so hard! He got some great shots.. totally caught their personalities for sure! Thank you, John, for all of the amazing, hard work!
From begining to end, the whole day was perfect. We were there for 11 hours, and usually after an 11 hour day, I’m ready to die. But for some reason, this wedding was so laid back and everything was so stretched out, it didn’t even seem like I was working. To say the least, John & I had a blast. We LOVED this wedding!!
