I am so, so, so excited to photograph my friends, Amelia & Nick for the engagement session & wedding. I love this couple so much! I met them a while ago at the dog park. Their dog, Lucky, and my dog Chance became awesome playmates and I was so excited that such a fun, adorable couple was coming to our tiny dog park here in Easley. Sometimes it’s a ghost town up in there. I loved getting to know Amelia and Nick, both separately and together. This sweet couple is originally from Michigan, and dated in high school. Amelia moved to South Carolina after college, and they rekindled their relationship & began long distance dating. After a long year-ish of doing that, Nick made the decision to move here to be with her!! Such a big step! What a declaration of love! At one of our doggy play dates, Nick secretly told me that he was planning on proposing super soon. I was SO excited to hear this! THEY ARE SO PERFECT TOGETHER! He proposed in Charleston, when they went away for a weekend. Nick had someone record it on his phone, and her reaction was too adorable. I watched it over and over again, ready to cry because they are so happy!
We went to the gorgeous Sassafras Mountain with Lucky, and their new pup, Brutus! Amelia’s lovely mother was awesome enough to come as well and hold the dogs for us when we wanted just the two of them in the photos. They were perfect and gorgeous and had such a great time goofing off with each other, which made my job so easy! Photographing them, in this place, with their fur-babies, it was the perfect engagement session!!
