This was my first same sex couple and I couldn’t be happier. As soon as I met with A & J, we clicked instantly, and I wanted to become their friend. They are such a fun couple, and in the middle of their fun-ness, they are completely and totally in love with each other. They never miss an opportunity to tell each other that, and introduce the other to other people as their “future wife”, all while having the world’s biggest smile plastered on their faces. It’s really the sweetest thing ever. I’m so over the moon for them. I really am. They are getting married THIS WEEK at the courthouse, and I’m completely honored to be there to photograph it.
But for now, the engagement session. I just told them to have fun, feel free to make each other laugh, and don’t hold back natural smiles or laughter. What I try to capture is real interactions between the couple. If this was a graded test, they passed with flying colors. I feel like the teacher on The Christmas Story, in the dream sequence, she wrote “A++++++++” all around the classroom walls. A & J NAIIIIILED it!! They couldn’t have been more perfect and cute and so natural.
The majority of their session was photographed at the gorgeous Le Meridian Hotel in downtown Tampa. Practically as soon as we stepped in, my new favorite worker, Dennis, told us that we had to go up to the ballroom to take pictures. Dennis, thank you!!! I thought I died and gone to heaven because the light coming from this room was magical. These windows are what photographer dreams are made of.
Jumping into the water fountain was totally impromptu, and they had a blast. Not a care that they didn’t have any towels to dry off with! I LOVE them for this, and wish to be more like them!! I really have the world’s best clients ever.
This is one of my favorite engagement shoots I’ve seen! Such a fun couple and I wish them all the love and luck in the world. The fountain pictures Are so amazing and it looks like you had a blast photographing them! Absolutely beautiful!
Wow Jessica!!! These are my sisters so I’m a little bias! But even if I didn’t know and love them as well and as much as I do, and they were complete strangers, I would still absolute LOVE these photos! You did such a lovely job! A+J truly are such special, beautiful, and wonderful ladies, and you captured them brilliantly! Love
