Meredith & John- Wedding

As everyone watched closely at the weather forecasts for the day of the wedding, Meredith was a bit nervous.  Forecasts showed it was going to thunderstorm all day.  I prepped for rainy day photos, and Meredith prepped for cute umbrellas and rain boots.  It wasn’t until THE DAY OF the wedding, the forecasts changed, and it was a beautiful day.  Couldn’t have been better.
Meredith got ready at the Vinoy, and I loooved photographing all of her details there.  So many fun spaces to use.  It’s a gorgeous hotel.  Despite having a fiasco with her florist, Meredith kept herself together, calmy, and took charge of her wedding day.   I was so proud of her.  I seriously wanted to cheer her on from behind my camera.  She was such a trooper.  She wasn’t going to let anything ruin her special day!
She looked so breath-taking.  Lindsay with Lindsay Does Makeup did a flawless job making Meredith look even more amazing than she already does.  Her DRESS!  Oh my, her dress was definitely swoon worthy.
The wedding was held at the Sunken Gardens in St. Petersburg.  They always have the most beautiful ceremonies there.  Thank goodness it didn’t rain!!
Everything was so gorgeous.   The smiles on Meredith & John’s faces were priceless, as they said their heartfelt vows.

Note from the bride “We planned an intimate event at the beautiful Sunken Gardens, in St. Petersburg. Before the ceremony, we chose to do a first look at the Vinoy Renaissance hotel. We were so happy we did this, because it really took the nerves out of the day. We had both had terrible mornings that were putting us behind schedule and really needed to see and speak to one another to decompress. In hindsight, it was also wonderful to have a few moments alone before the hustle and bustle of the rest of the evening. When we arrived at our venue, our guests had been patiently waiting for us. We had an unplugged ceremony so everyone was able to just sit back and enjoy the ceremony. John and I had put alot of time into personalizing every last sentence of our ceremony. During our ceremony we chose to have a ring warming rather than the traditional unity candle. Our guests were all blown away by this idea. It truly made their presence a blessing on our vows to one another. Our reception was a whirlwind and a blast. The food was absolutely amazing, and the cake was delish. We had guests raving about every bit of their meal as well as our DJ, who really kept everyone entertained during the night. There were always people out on the dancefloor. After the night ended, John and I went back to the Vinoy and settled into our room. We ordered some tea and just talked about how crazy and fun our day had been. There may have been several bumps in the road, but everything turned out great, and our friends and families had also really enjoyed themselves. It was all we could’ve asked for and more.”
