One day my good friend Katie, from Catherine Ann Photography, asked me if I would like to help plan a styled shoot for her fb group The Tampa Shutter Sisters. I LOVE this kind of stuff, and I knew that anything Katie touches will turn to gold. So I immediately agreed and we met up and brainstormed over a delicious lunch at Panera Bread. (mmmm) We hit a couple of snags in the road, but when does everything go EXACTLY as it’s planned? We managed to get a gorgeous & willing couple at the very last minute, and everything fell into place beyond perfectly. We had about 6 girls shooting at the same time. It was my first time ever shooting something with so many people! It was so much fun, and it was so awesome to see the different ideas and interpretations from everybody. We shot for HOURS, and never ran short of ideas. And the couple was so incredibly comfortable in front of the camera. You would have thought they’ve been doing this for years.
As soon as we were done, I left for my Christmas/New Year vacation for a whole two weeks! I had such a blast visiting with my inlaws in Orlando and my family in New Orleans, but in the back of my mind the entire time was this session just itching to be edited and shared! I finally got home last night and couldn’t wait to start working on it.
Gorgeous. Just… Gorgeous.
