If you know me, you know I love a good, classic, intimate wedding. Sarah and Bobby had one of the most perfect, intimate weddings I’ve shot. (They’re all so perfect, how can you choose?) We had a huge chunk of time after their precious first look, to walk around Falls Park and take our time taking some absolutely gorgeous photos of this beautiful couple. I squeezed every second I could out of this time, and I am so happy and thankful that we weren’t rushed. And the beautiful weather was the cherry on top of a perfect day. And her DRESS!!! I was completely in awe when I saw it on her. It fit like a beautiful, slim, custom made glove. Simple, elegant, timeless! She got it at my favorite bridal dress place in town, The White Magnolia. And her gorgeous, stunning flowers are from the ever talented Suzie from Statice Flowers. I always love working with Suzie! Not only does she create these mega, insane floral decorations, but she is so professional and there to help at the drop of a dime.
When we were finished, we walked to the ceremony site, completely dressed up with the most incredible floral arrangements and candles. Larkin’s courtyard is a beautiful, narrow space, perfect for an intimate wedding. Lovely, tall brick walls tower above, letting the candles shine bright. The sweet and special reception capped off the evening with two stunning tables running parallel, with green leaves cascading over the edges, and candles lighting the room. It was everything a intimate wedding should be. Sarah & Bobby’s family and friends got to celebrate and love on the couple over a small, private dinner with laughs and heartfelt toasts. Absolutely makes me want to go back and have an identical wedding. Big thanks to this super sweet and beautiful couple for trusting me to photograph their perfect day.
