How do you describe a wedding that was so perfect in every aspect? Bear with me, this is going to be an extra long blog post. There were so many details so carefully crafted by the couple. Seriously, they even HAND MADE their own farmhouse tables. And loved doing it so much, they started their own woodworking business. And holy moley, they are so crazy talented. They are like a super power couple that can do EVERYTHING. Creative, talented, sweet, hilarious, thoughtful.. basically perfect. Heather wrote and recorded a song for the ceremony. When it was playing, I was thinking, wow, this is a beautiful song. But it wasn’t until afterwards, it was mentioned that it was Heather actually singing. I knew she had a beautiful voice, but wow!! And just wait till you see the details in their wedding. They love to travel, and have traveled quite a bit since they’ve started dating. And they wanted to come up with a way to incorporate their travels into their wedding day. So they created stations for each trip they’ve taken. At the stations, there are pictures of the two of them, funny interesting stories, props, and thoughtful favors cleverly labeled “Treat yo’ self”. And each favor had something to do with that trip, fortune cookies for San Francisco, for example. Everything was way more detailed and personalized than I ever thought a wedding could be. I can’t even imagine how much time it took to plan and put everything together. And on top of their fabulous details, the emotion-filled day was the cherry on the cake. When Matt started reciting his hilarious RHYMING wedding vows, promising to be her kill buddy when a zombie apocalypse breaks out.. there was not a dry eye to be found because everyone was laughing so hard, especially Heather. Her expression said it all. She was thrilled to be marrying this man. UGH, just everything about this day was so perfect and I want to re-live it again and again.
