Who doesn’t love the style and the vibes of the 20’s? I could live inside the Great Gatsby (with Leonardo, of course) and be so happy for the rest of my life. The classic sass of those flapper girls is evvverything. When Kamera mentioned to me that her wedding AND her engagement session have a 20’s theme, I couldn’t get enough & wanted to photograph everything right then and there. And not only was I totally diggin’ her theme, but I was diggin’ her as well. She is totally my kind of girl. We sat for coffee at our initial consultation, and just vibed like we were friends forever. In fact, I probably could have sat there all day on that sofa in Spill The Beans, and talked all about our families & lives. She cracked me up because she was nervous that the photographer that she hired wouldn’t be able to handle her loud, crazy family. I explained my family was also loud and crazy, and being with her family will make me feel right at home. I’m really excited to meet everyone & have the best time!
When I got to meet Will at their engagement session, I was thrilled with his enthusiasm. I expressed how fun it was to work with him because he was genuinely happy to be there, and he said it was because it meant so much to Kamera. And the look in his eyes when he said that, was pure love for his bride to be. It was so romantic and beautiful. I truly adore when men show their love, apologetically. Nothing better. Love it.
