I love my couples. There’s no other way to say it. It’s true. It was completely storming the day of Kelly & Jason’s engagement session. When trying to brainstorm on inside places to shoot, I think of Locale because I totally love the style inside. For those who aren’t from the St Pete area, Locale is a grocery store. But sooo much more than a grocery store. But I hesitate on suggesting it, because.. well, who wants their engagement pictures in a grocery store? But as soon as I suggest it, they love the idea. They get it. I knew they would. We get each other. So we shot in between storms, managed to get quite a few outside. The rain loves them though, but despite the weather, we pretty much had the best session. And they are so in love with each other, and so perfect together. Total love fest going on.
Bryan and I met Jason when we decided to try out this church I found on facebook. It looked like a church right up my alley, and it was! The first person who greeted us was Jason. He was so warm and friendly, eager for us to enjoy our time at Aletheia. We’re kinda shy people when we’re surrounded by people we don’t know. But we could always count of Jason’s friendly smile to greet us and ask how we’ve been doing. I was so excited to hear he got engaged, and I met Kelly and him for tea, and absolutely loved getting to know them better. Such a sweet, beautiful, Godly couple! I’m so thrilled and honored to be their photographer!
