How adorable are Cara & Mike?? And their wedding was perfectly them. Adorable. Cara was so nervous leading up to the ceremony. She couldn’t wait for her wedding to start. I’m a fan of wedding jitters. It makes my job fun because it’s a great emotion to catch. Cara looked flawless. I loved her gorgeous up-do/braid by Aida Nikolenko! She was head to toe perfection. Probably my favorite part of the day was when she was putting on her dress. Completely nervous, she was still smiling and so happy! The room was filled with this unmistakable joyful energy.
I love the way they were connected throughout the day, even before the ceremony started. While she was nervously practicing her vows, Mike was sitting alone, practicing his. They both couldn’t wait to be with each other and get married. And when Cara came down the aisle, Mike had the sweetest smile plastered across his face. All of the families were so excited as well, and very emotional. Their outdoor ceremony at Nova 535 was beautiful with all that gorgeous green bamboo everywhere. And the flowers by my friends at Buds, Blooms and Beyond were absolutely stunning. And man, when it came time to party, the party was going! The band, The Leonard Brothers Band was playing all my favorite songs, and everyone was having so much fun. What a sweet, beautiful day! I’m so happy for them!! Congratulations Cara & Mike!! Many, many happy wishes to you both!
