Guys, this is one of my most favorite engagement sessions ever. This couple, this boho style, this venue.. totally up my alley.
From the first moment I met Heather and Matt, I fell in love with them. Heather has the most amazing, free spirit. Matt reminded me of my husband Bryan so much. I felt like we all had so much in common! Our consultation ran way long because we couldn’t stop talking and laughing. I loved their vision for their wedding, and was so psyched when they hired me to be their photographer. I seriously love them.
We were planning an amazing canoe engagement session, but it rained pretty heavily the days before and the parks were closed. Heather came up with something just as perfect. A boho-inspired tent at her wedding venue, Bird Island Lake Ranch. AH! LOVE!! The day of, everything was so great and we had so much fun. They even brought their pet doggies, Pip and Winnie, to be in a couple of pictures. Heather looked gorgeous with her hair and makeup done by the incredible Simone over at the Makeover Station in Orlando.
Heather was killin’ it. Her smile was so on point. I can go on and on about her smile and free spirit. Basically, she’s my spirit animal… or who I wish my spirit animal was.
Matt was so super handsome and perfect as well. He was such a trooper, and even though I kept promising “this is the last picture” a million times, he never complained and always put up with me. I couldn’t get enough of the two of them. They were as bright as the sun.
I wish I could be as photogenic!! Pshhh!
