I love love LOVE traveling for destination weddings, whether it be tropical, mountainous or even good ole’ Michigan! This is where Kyle grew up. This is Loon Lake in the middle of nowhere Hale, MI. This particular area used to be a YWCA camp for kids. Kyle’s parents live here now and what an absolute gorgeous place to live, and host a wedding!! Everything about this place is right up my alley. I love woodsy!! And it was so peaceful! So happy we got the opportunity to come here and shoot this wedding.
Kyle & Liz are a super fun, generous, kick-ass couple. I met Liz through her BFF, which is also one of my former brides. I was so crazy happy that she wanted me to come up and photograph their day. What an honor! Pretty much everyone who was there traveled from FL to be there. That tells me how loved they are, and how excited everyone is for them! And of course, they didn’t want to miss an amazing party! 
Lauren/my former bride/Liz’s best friend is also my favorite artist, like in the world. I have several of her pieces including the coolest custom portrait of my husband, myself and pets.
