I’m so excited about this session. You could say Kait was the first person I unofficially met when I moved here to Greenville. We’re members of the entrepreneurial group, The Rising Tide Society. But we’re about an hour and a half from each other, sadly. But we connected on facebook & got to know each other. She’s a faaantastic artist, like seriously amazing. You have to check out her website and facebook page. She contacted me about doing some headshots for her business, and I was so honored! I got her in touch with Amanda with Cotton Rouge and treated her to some pampering, and we headed to Taylors Mill for some photos. I told her to bring her handsome husband, Travis, so I can get pictures of the two of them. I loved photographing and getting to know them both.. They were such a joy! Kait always had a beautiful smile on her face, and Travis loved putting it there.
Taylors Mill was such a phenomenal place to shoot, too. The upstairs ballroom was so perfect. Had that abandoned feel, but gorgeous (and safe, thank God). The light pouring into that room was like I was in Heaven. I look forward to shooting here again!! It was a little bit of a last minute decision to shoot there, because it was supposed to rain and of course changed last minute. But so happy that Katie with Taylors Mill & Cotton Rouge was so easy going and accommodating!
